Professional Profile

I am a construction-focused QHSE Advisor and Health & Safety Consultant with extensive experience across refurbishment, complex live environments, and critical infrastructure projects throughout the UK. My professional background spans over ten years working on the tools, followed by senior site and construction management roles, and more recent QHSE and CDM advisory positions—giving me a rare, end-to-end understanding of how risk emerges, degrades, and must be controlled in real construction settings.

I have supported major contractors, clients, and specialist trades across high-risk projects including hotel conversions, large-scale refurbishments, façade and roofing works on occupied buildings, complex MEP installations, and security-sensitive infrastructure such as data centres and defence environments. This experience allows me to engage credibly with operatives, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders alike, and to challenge unsafe norms without losing delivery confidence.

My core strength lies in bridging regulatory compliance and site reality. I support duty holders under the CDM 2015 Regulations by identifying risk early, clarifying responsibility, and embedding practical controls that withstand programme pressure. I have acted as CDM Advisor and supported Principal Contractors, Clients, and Designers in meeting their legal duties in a way that is proportionate, defensible, and workable on site.

Alongside advisory work, I have delivered specialist training for senior decision-makers and site teams, including CDM 2015, Work at Height, Abrasive Wheels, Hot Works, Fire Safety, and Asbestos Awareness. My approach to consultancy is collaborative, commercially aware, and outcome-focused—aimed at reducing risk exposure, strengthening assurance, and supporting successful project delivery rather than creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
